About BUCC Promotion Trials: Member Ascension Simulator

Welcome to the official BUCC Promotion Trials, an interactive cyber-arcade experience developed for members, alumni, and enthusiasts of the BRAC University Computer Club (BUCC). Built with a custom 60 FPS HTML5 Canvas engine, procedural Web Audio soundscapes, and responsive particle physics, the game transforms the club's real-world promotional hierarchy into an action-packed platform runner and tactical boss shooter.

As a newly recruited General Member (GM), your objective is to navigate treacherous obstacle courses, gather club coin tokens, outmaneuver senior challenges, and earn successive promotions through executive ranks until you challenge the legendary Governing Body (GB) leadership.

Promotional Hierarchy & Stage Objectives

The progression system mirrors the structural organization of BRAC University Computer Club. Each stage presents unique obstacles, required evasion counts, and specialized weapon loadouts:

◆ STAGE 1: GM RUNNER General Member (GM)

Master core navigation by dodging 15 standard obstacles. Leap over barriers, practice double-jump timing, and collect foundational club coins.

◆ STAGE 2: EXEC DEFENSE Executive (EXE)

Face aggressive laser turrets. Master the Right-Click Energy Shield to deflect high-velocity energy fire while timing double-jumps.

◆ STAGE 3: SR. EXEC COMBAT Senior Executive (SE)

Unlock the Rapid Blaster sidearm. Aim with your cursor and fire (Left Click or F) to eliminate airborne combat drones before they swarm your position.

◆ STAGE 4: EB SIEGE Executive Board (EB)

Equipped with the Heavy Plasma Cannon. Neutralize armored Elite Sentinels and mobile missile cruisers across intense high-speed wave sequences.

◆ STAGE 5: GB CLIMAX Governing Body (GB)

The supreme trial: face the 4 legendary Governing Body leaders in consecutive multi-phase boss duels to claim the BUCC Presidency and immortal Hall of Fame status.

Tactical Controls & Survival Mechanics

  • SPACE / Up Arrow (↑): Jump. Tap again in mid-air to execute a high-clearance Double Flip Jump.
  • Hold Right Mouse Button: Project the Holographic Energy Shield. Absorbs enemy laser fire at the cost of shield energy recharge.
  • Left Click / F: Aim your weapon reticle toward enemies or bosses and fire tactical plasma rounds.
  • M: Toggle audio soundtrack and procedural arcade sound effects.
